- Are you feeling lost in a sea of belongings and don’t know where to start?
- Do you need the ‘junk room’ for a new baby/home office/gym?
- Need to sort out the children’s playroom?
- Moving home and need to downsize?
- Kitchen cupboards need sorting and a spring clean?
It can often feel like there are never enough hours in the day and the ‘To Do’ list just keeps growing so let us help you bring some order to your home and your life.
Why declutter?
Improved focus and productivity
Clearing clutter from your home and work environments can lead to an improved ability to focus and increase productivity
Better sleep and clearer thinking
Do you have sleep issues? An uncluttered bedroom can aid sleep and improve cognitive function
More time to do what you love
Having an organised clutter free home or office will leave you more time to enjoy the things you love, like family and hobbies
How it works…
We are all busy bees trying our best to manage our busy (and often chaotic) lives, but sometimes we need a helping hand to bring some order and calm into our environments – be it home or work. And that’s where we can help.
Below is our three step approach to help you create space for your well bee’ing
Step one: Defining your goals
- What do you want to achieve? What does good look like? Remember this is about you – not us!
- What items do you love and why?
- What items do you (really) need?
- What items no longer serve a purpose? i.e. don’t fit, are broken, no longer used, duplicated or even triplicated!
We will challenge you on some of your responses. That’s our job! We do this as we want you to think really hard about the item and its true value to you.
The aim isn’t to get rid of lots of things. This is about helping you to work out what you need and/or is important to you – and what isn’t.
Step two: Sorting
- Sell
- Give to charity
- Recycle
- Give to family/friends
We can help you recycle and give to charity (please see fees for more information)
Step three: Organising
Once we have sorted through your items, together we will explore how we organise and store your belongings.
First we will work out:
- Do you need to have it to hand?
- Or can you store away?
We will next look at how you live, or work, and devise storage solutions that work for you both now and in the long-term after we have gone.
Testimonials
From decluttering and reorganising kitchens and wardrobes, to garages and craft/sewing rooms – and even packing everything away after Christmas – Mrs Organiser can help bring some order back to your home and your life and “create space for you well bee’ing”, just like we have for many of our other customers
I can heartily recommend Mrs Organiser! She has completely transformed my untidy ways! Naomi came round to sort out my cupboards and wardrobe, chatting with me about what I wanted to keep, did I really need clothes I hadn’t worn for literally years, suggestions on storage options etc. I now know exactly what I have – useful clothes I will continue to wear, the rest being recycled and donated to charity. I have been inspired and carried Naomi’s ideas over to other areas of storage in the house.
*New* Home Project Management Service
In addition to decluttering, Mrs Organiser can also help you source and organise anything from tradespeople (such as electricians, gardeners and even housekeepers), to items for your home (such as storage solutions, furniture, replacements doors, outside lights and much more).
